What Clients Say
Words from the people we have helped
David Hewson
Retired, Chang Khlan
"I had pension correspondence going back twelve years in a cardboard box — none of it filed, some of it still unopened. Margaret went through it all with me without making me feel the least bit embarrassed. We set up a folder system in about two hours and I walked away knowing exactly where everything was. That is genuinely more than I could have managed on my own."

Siriporn Pattanasak
Household, Nimmanhaemin
"The Household Filing Kit is well thought out. My husband and I each have different pension schemes and the kit handled both without any problem. The annual checklist has been the most useful thing — it reminds us every year what to file and when. I would have liked a slightly larger folder for some of the older documents, but that is a minor point."

Robert Blackwell
Expat, Santitham
"Living abroad makes retirement paperwork harder to track. Letters come from different countries, different providers, sometimes in languages I only half understand. The sorting session helped me see it all in one place for the first time. Nothing was translated for me — that is not what they do — but having clear labels and sections made it far easier to deal with myself afterwards."

Nora Whitfield
Retired teacher, Old City
"I attended the Community Information Series at my residents' association. James gave the talks in plain, steady English and never talked down to anyone. I came away with a much clearer sense of how pension correspondence is structured, which helped me stop feeling overwhelmed when letters arrived. Good, calm, neutral information — exactly what it was described as."

Anuwat Tantipong
Business owner, Hang Dong
"I bought two filing kits — one for my own papers and one for my mother. Both arrived well packaged and the reference guide inside was clearly written. My mother found the Thai phrasing a little dense in places but the folder labels were clear. Panida followed up by email, which was a nice touch."

Fiona O'Brien
Retired nurse, Mae Rim
"Having been a nurse, I expected to be competent about paperwork, but retirement has a particular kind of administrative accumulation that surprised me. The session was a proper relief. I appreciated that Silverledge is clear about what they don't do — there was no attempt to steer me toward any particular decision. Just organisation, done properly."

Case Studies
A closer look at three client journeys
Case Study 01 — Sorting Session
A retired expat with documents from three countries
The Situation
A British resident in Chiang Mai had pension and banking correspondence in English, French, and Thai — dating back to the early 2000s — kept in three separate bags with no consistent organisation. He found it difficult to locate any single document when needed.
What We Did
A two-hour sorting session created a six-section folder system organised by country and document type, with plain-language labels in English only. No documents were removed or summarised — everything was returned to the client in the new structure.
The Outcome
All documents located and sorted within one session. The client reported finding a document he had been looking for for two years. He subsequently purchased a filing kit for his wife as well.
"I never expected it to feel this simple. We just sat down and went through it all, one section at a time." — David H., Chang Khlan
Case Study 02 — Community Information Series
A local residents' association seeking group education
The Situation
A mixed group of 22 Thai and expat residents in the Santitham area had heard of the Silverledge series and asked for a dedicated run for their association. Several members were recently retired and felt unfamiliar with how pension documents were typically structured.
What We Did
Three sessions were delivered at the association's premises over three consecutive weeks. Each session focused on one aspect of retirement document structure. Printed resources were provided, and a Q&A session followed the final talk.
The Outcome
Attendance held steady across all three sessions. Eighteen of twenty-two attendees returned a feedback form; average satisfaction rated 4.7 out of 5. Several attendees subsequently enquired about individual sorting sessions.
"Everyone left with something concrete to take away. The printed guides have been referred to at subsequent association meetings." — Nora W., Old City
Case Study 03 — Household Filing Kit
A family managing paperwork for two generations
The Situation
A Chiang Mai family was managing both their own retirement records and those of an elderly parent. They wanted a way to keep everything in order independently — without needing to involve Silverledge after the initial setup.
What We Did
Two household filing kits were supplied — one for each household. The annual checklist was adapted slightly to include a reminder for the parent's documents as well. Setup guidance was provided by email.
The Outcome
The family set up both kits within a single afternoon. They contacted us three months later to say the system was still in use and had made a difference when one family member needed to locate an old policy document quickly.
"The checklist is pinned inside the folder. We look at it every April without fail now." — Anuwat T., Hang Dong
